Medvedchuk's humiliation is a big slap in the face for Putin - Yagun
Deputy Head of the Security Service of Ukraine 2014-2015, Major General of the Reserve SSU Viktor Yagun believes that the humiliation of Putin's godfather Viktor Medvedchuk is a big slap in the face for the President of Russia
The major general of the SSU reserve spoke about this on the air of the "Verdict with Sergiy Rudenko'' program on Espreso.TV.
"One could agree that the most dangerous place for Viktor Medvedchuk is a Ukrainian prison. After all, there are really a lot of questions about where the money that was allocated for the implementation of so-called political projects, the organization of the 5th column in Ukraine, all those media channels went - why didn't they give the expected result?", Yagun said.
According to the Major General of the SSU reserve, there will be no complaints against Medvedchuk, since he belongs to the closest circle of Putin's apostates, unlike Vladislav Surkov, who for many years oversaw the Ukrainian direction in the Kremlin, built a network of traitors and oversaw financial flows, including CADLO, which fell under repression.
"Medvedchuk is no longer interested in Putin as a person who can influence Ukrainian politics, or organize and lead something. Viktor Medvedchuk is a person close to Putin. I think that for Medvedchuk the Russians will fight, maybe not as actively as we would have wanted to, but this is one of those options that we can give up with a calm soul. The humiliation that Medvedchuk now feels is a big slap in the face for the president of Russia. Putin imagines how he might look in Medvedchuk's place. It should be understood that Medvedchuk is one of those people who have been preparing to replace Yanukovych since 2012. A lot of Russian funds were spent on it", Viktor Yagun said.
The major general of the SSU reserve believes that it is necessary for Medvedchuk to receive a sentence in Ukraine, and then it is already possible to exchange him.
