Maxar shows bombed Bakhmut on satellite images
Maxar Technologies has published satellite images of Bakhmut, comparing what the outskirts of the city looked like on August 1, 2022 and January 4, 2023

Maxar shared the images on its Twitter page.
"The city has been the focus of intense battles between Russian and Ukrainian forces for the past 6 months and the imagery reveals extensive damage to buildings and infrastructure," the statement said.
The company noted that the first photo was taken on August 1, 2022.
And the second image shows the destruction of buildings and infrastructure as of January 4, 2023.
- Pavlo Kyrylenko, head of the Donetsk regional military administration, said that as a result of hostilities Bakhmut is more than 60% destroyed.
