U.S. to push EU to buy more American weapons for Ukraine

Reuters reports this, citing its own sources.  

The plan by the U.S. administration aims to reassure Ukrainian leaders concerned that Trump might block further aid.  

European countries have previously purchased American weapons for Ukraine during Joe Biden's administration. Leaders plan to discuss the issue this week at the Munich Security Conference.  

"It is one of several ideas the administration is discussing to potentially continue U.S. weapons shipments to Kyiv without expending significant U.S. capital," the source said.
