Trump made the statement ahead of the Munich Security Conference. Keith Kellogg is expected to attend the event and meet with Volodymyr Zelenskyy. U.S. Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth will also be present.
Trump also announced Kellogg's visit to Ukraine but did not specify the exact date. According to CNN, the visit may take place next week, while AFP, citing a source in the Ukrainian presidency, reports it is scheduled for February 20.
“We will deliver our expectation to the allies,” Kellogg said in an interview with the Associated Press. “When we come back from Munich we want to deliver to the president the options, so when he does get (directly) involved in the peace process, he knows what it will look like for him,” he added.
