He cooperated with the invaders and could finance the war against Ukraine: the State Bureau of Investigation arrested more than 200 million assets of the People's Deputy close to Yanukovych

This is stated in the State Bureau of Investigation Telegram channel.

 

"The State Bureau of Investigation has seized more than UAH 200 million of unfounded assets of the former people's deputy of Ukraine from the Party of Regions, who is close to the family of the fugitive ex-president Viktor Yanukovych", the department noted.

 

According to the State Bureau of Investigation, the ex-deputy, together with Viktor Yanukovych's entourage, "laundered" and legalized abroad the income received from transactions in one of the powerful concerns of Donbas. After the creation of the DPR, he continued to actually control the pharmaceutical company and began to cooperate with the invaders. He registered a company in the temporarily occupied Gorlivka, where his former security guard became the mayor.

 

The former "regional" had UAH 203.4 million in deposit accounts opened in Ukrainian banks, which had dubious and unconfirmed sources of origin. The funds could be connected with Russian capital and used to finance Russia's war against Ukraine.

 

The State Bureau of Investigation identified these accounts and seized them.
