FSB may be involved in drone strikes on Moscow — British colonel Grant
Glen Grant, a retired British army colonel and military expert, believes that FSB may have done it to prompt Putin to more aggressive actions
He stated this on Espreso.
Glen Grant noted that the annexed Crimea is Ukrainian territory and this is clear. Ukraine can liberate its own territory.
"In my opinion, attacking the civilian population of Russia is not a good idea. However, targeting Russian military-strategic objects and military infrastructure accumulation would be beneficial and important. It's not entirely certain that the drones used in the attacks were of Ukrainian origin. While the chances are high, they might have been launched by FSB representatives. Sometimes, they may want to create a situation to give Putin more freedom to be aggressive,” he said.
The retired British Army colonel stated that he doesn't want to jump to conclusions about Ukraine's involvement in the drone attacks on civilian infrastructure in Russia.
