Collective West is not considering participation in war - British Colonel Grant
Glen Grant, a retired British Army colonel and military expert, believes that the Western world has repeatedly shown a certain weakness, so Putin has been moving forward since the conflict in Chechnya
He expressed this opinion on Espreso TV.
"The world did allow Putin to enter Crimea, but let's look even further back in time. Nobody did anything when there were conflicts in Chechnya and Georgia. The Western world has repeatedly shown a certain weakness, so Putin moved forward," said the retired British Army Colonel.
Glen Grant noted that the common feature of today's war with the times of the Second World War and afterwards is the lack of people who would take this war seriously.
"Right now, the collective West is not considering that they might have to fight. In fact, they have been doing this since World War II, so they are not preparing for war, not learning the necessary lessons as they should," the military expert said.
