Bradley IFV is great vehicle for quick counteroffensive - AFU officer Lapin
AFU officer Ihor Lapin believes that American Bradley infantry fighting vehicles are becoming an important part of the Ukrainian counteroffensive
He expressed this opinion on the Espreso TV channel.
"Now the situation with airplanes is not much better than it was a few days ago. However, the territories of the northern regions that were occupied by Russia have been completely liberated. After all, an ordinary infantry soldier has the final say in combat operations. Therefore, until the infantry has entered a particular territory, it cannot be considered liberated," explained Lapin.
The officer explained that Ukrainian air defense should be an important component of a successful counteroffensive of the AFU.
"As for our future counteroffensive, everything will depend on how quickly we can develop it. Will we be able to expand the counteroffensive and quickly install air defense systems in the liberated territories so that Russian aircraft cannot fly over the heads of our troops? Equipment is also very important. I would like to emphasize that Bradley infantry fighting vehicles are perfect for a rapid and intense offensive," he added.
