Bellingcat investigator Grozev calls Russian nuclear strike on Ukraine unlikely, but admits it could be launched against Poland
Bellingcat CEO Christo Grozev believes that a Russian nuclear strike on Ukraine is unlikely, as it would destroy the narrative of helping the "brotherly people"
Grozev said this in an interview with Glavkom media.
According to him, Putin is "ready to take a nuclear step on a smaller or larger scale."
"Although in ideal circumstances, he would not want to use this last argument in a war with Ukraine. In that case, there would be no point in looking for a social justification for the Russians. The narrative of helping the "brotherly people" will then simply completely self-destruct," Grozev said.
At the same time, he admits the possibility of a nuclear strike on Poland.
"And he (Putin - ed.) will eventually do it if he has no other choice. After all, he is capable of this," the investigator emphasized.
