Ukrainian forces push back Russian army in some areas of Pokrovsk direction
The commander of the assault drone company of the 68th Separate Jaeger Brigade noted that in the Pokrovsk direction, the Russian army has reduced the intensity of their actions, but assault operations have not stopped
He made these remarks during a broadcast on the Espreso TV channel.
"The enemy had difficulty breaking through us head-on for a long time, trying to bypass Pokrovsk from the west to encircle the city. The situation has stabilized a bit there. Our brigade is working right by the city to the south. Currently, the enemy has reduced the intensity, but I wouldn’t say that their assault actions have completely stopped," the serviceman remarked.
According to the commander of the assault drone company of the 68th Separate Jaeger Brigade, previously, up to 20 Russian infantrymen would attack the defense positions every hour or two, assaulting from different directions and on various positions. Now, assaults have significantly decreased.
"We have even restored some positions, moving forward, pushing the enemy back," he emphasized.
