Ukrainian forces liberate Pishchane village south of Pokrovsk

This was stated by the spokesperson of the operational-strategic troop grouping "Khortytsia," Viktor Trehubov, on the Kyiv 24 TV channel.  

"It has already been reported, and we can now confirm the liberation of the village of Pishchane. It is located about five kilometers south of Pokrovsk. Russian forces have also been pushed back from several other nearby settlements," he said, adding that the situation on the front line is changing rapidly. 

The spokesperson noted that a significant turning point had occurred in the Pokrovsk sector. "At least, this is how it can now be described, referring to the words of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy," Trehubov said.  

According to him, Russian troops had serious intentions in the Pokrovsk direction but suffered heavy losses.  

"This month, they were also somewhat halted and even pushed back in certain settlements," said the "Khortytsia" grouping spokesperson, adding that this was primarily due to the effective use of drones and the cooperation of various Ukrainian units.
