Yermak shared this information on Telegram.

“Today, I was pleased to welcome the U.S. President’s Special Envoy for Ukraine and Russia, Keith Kellogg, to Kyiv. This was his first meeting during his visit, and I am grateful that he came to Ukraine during such a challenging time—we appreciate it. It is important for us that Keith Kellogg receives full information about what is happening on the front lines, about the resilience and spirit of our nation, which have remained unwavering all these years. He needs to see this with his own eyes and get all the details. Briefings from military command and commanders on the ground regarding the battlefield situation will be crucial,” he wrote.

The head of the Presidential Office emphasized that Ukraine expects continued support from the United States. Yermak also told Kellogg that Moscow constantly manipulates information to sow discord between nations.

“The principle of ‘nothing about Ukraine without Ukraine’ is key. We want the U.S. to stand on the side of truth and justice, and that is on our side. We are interested in a strategic, long-term, and comprehensive partnership with the United States. Ukraine needs security guarantees, as well as defense and economic cooperation,” he concluded.

Earlier, U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget A. Brink shared the information about the visit on social media X.

"Welcome to Kyiv," wrote Brink.

Earlier, Suspilne reported about the visit of Trump's special representative.

In a conversation with journalists, Kellogg stated that his visit was an opportunity for promising negotiations.

He mentioned that they would listen and were ready to provide “what was necessary,” emphasizing their understanding of the need for security guarantees.

He explained that part of his mission was to listen, after which he would return to the U.S. and speak with President Trump to ensure they had a clear understanding of the situation.

He also added that he believes "the war would not have started if Trump had been president at that time."

  • According to Vladimir Putin’s assistant Yuri Ushakov, Keith Kellogg will represent the U.S. in negotiations to end the war against Ukraine.
