Trucks and thermal imagers: Ukraine receives new military aid package from Lithuania

On Wednesday, February 19, 2025, Lithuania's Ministry of Defense announced a new package of military assistance for Ukraine's armed forces

The Lithuanian Defense Ministry's press service reported the information.

A new batch of trucks, thermal imaging sights and other equipment has arrived in Ukraine.

The Lithuanian Ministry added that the package provided to Ukraine amounts to $80 million and addresses Ukraine's most urgent needs. This year, Lithuania's military support to the Ukrainian Armed Forces is expected to total 1 billion euros.

The Lithuanian Ministry of Defense also stated that this year's primary areas of support for Ukraine will focus on addressing urgent needs, including air defense, ammunition, drones, and counter-drone measures. Additionally, efforts will be made to develop Lithuania's defense industry and support Ukraine's defense sector by financing domestic weapons production.
