Many factors no longer work — military expert Zgurets on new reality of warfare approaches
Serhiy Zgurets, Defense Express CEO and military expert, notes that the war against Ukraine is shifting to a long-term scenario, necessitating the consolidation of the economic and defense-industrial capacities of the US, the EU, and Ukraine
He shared his opinions with Espreso TV .
"We are at a stage where experts and politicians are trying to reconsider the course of Russia's war against Ukraine. Many factors that were previously considered fundamental in terms of offensive actions no longer work. We can see that the amount of accumulation of forces in a particular direction, which was a precondition for successful advances in previous hostilities, is no longer a working mechanism. Because the accumulation of troops causes an enemy artillery strike. This is how the enemy works, and this is how we work," explained Zgurets.
According to the military expert, approaches to warfare are being revised.
"At the tactical, strategic, and operational levels, we are rethinking approaches to warfare. We are moving to a long-term war format that will require the unification of the economic and defense-industrial potentials of the US, the EU, and Ukraine. This new format is still being developed," Zgurets added.
