Russian tactics in Kursk region change – Ukrainian commander
Commander of the Air Assault Battalion of the 80th Halychyna Brigade, Yehor Nozdryakov, commented on the current situation in the Kursk region, where a Ukrainian military operation is ongoing
The corresponding video was published by the press service of the Halychyna Brigade, as reported by Espreso.
"Right now, Russian tactics in the Kursk region have changed significantly. They are sending in large numbers of troops and conducting assault actions with masses of personnel," said Yehor Nozdryakov.
According to him, the main challenge for Ukrainian troops is the numerical advantage of the enemy.
"They are coming in waves, just like in World War II, with groups of 20-30 people. On certain sections, this tactic is effective—they draw artillery fire and FPV drone strikes onto themselves," the soldier explained.
The Halychyna Brigade added that in recent weeks, the Russian army has been intensively trying to assault the positions of Ukrainian brigades in the Kursk region. The Kremlin’s task is to push the Ukrainian army out of Russian territory by the end of January.
