Zaluzhnyi, Milley treat each other with great respect - General Hodges
The Ukrainian Armed Forces' Commander-in-Chief Valerii Zaluzhnyi and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark Milley are two professional servicemen who respect each other
General and former Commander of the US Army in Europe Ben Hodges said this on Espreso TV.
He commented on the last conversation between the two commanders.
“Of course, I do not know what exactly they discussed, but I can assume that General Zaluzhnyi provided General Milley with an assessment of how the counteroffensive is progressing and what the operational situation is. Zaluzhnyi probably emphasized what Ukraine needs in the coming months, and General Milley made it clear that he would continue to do everything possible to ensure that the United States and other countries that support Ukraine continue to provide their assistance. So, it was a conversation between two professional military men who have a lot of respect for each other and who discussed the current challenges,” Hodges said.
