US, UK ambassadors respond to new Russian missile strikes
The US and British ambassadors have responded to Russia's new missile attacks and said that Russia's brutality only strengthens Ukraine's resolve and deepens the US commitment to supporting Ukraine in its struggle
US Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink made the statement on Twitter, commenting on the Russian missile attack on Ukrainian cities.
"More lives tragically lost as Russia’s missiles hit another apartment building. Russia still hasn’t learned that its brutality only reinforces Ukrainian resolve and deepens our commitment to support Ukraine in the fight," Brink said.
In addition, the British Ambassador to Ukraine, Melinda Simmons, also commented on another Russian attack on her Twitter account.
"I have friends in Uman who had to run from their apartment. It shouldn’t make last night’s Russian air strikes feel worse than others but knowing people who are affected, inevitably it does. That justice will come for these attacks is poor comfort right now but I hold on to it," she wrote.
