Ukrainians oppose ending war via territorial concessions to Russia - Ambassador to Austria Oleksandr Scherba
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Austria 2014-2021 Oleksandr Shcherba said that about 90% of Ukrainians are against ending the war through territorial concessions
He said this on the air of the Espreso TV channel.
"You have seen the sociological polls in Ukraine. It is extremely difficult for people, people are tired of the war, they are running out of money and that's it. At the same time, as many as there are, about 90% are against ending the war by giving up the territories," he said Oleksandr Shcherba.
The ambassador of Ukraine in Austria noted that among his acquaintances he met only once a Ukrainian who was ready to give up territories for the sake of a faster end to the war.
"I look at the feed on my Facebook, on Twitter, my conversation with friends, and only once, I was very surprised by a person who said that it is necessary to end the war as soon as possible at any cost. Everyone else says "no". That's why such a society cannot lose, that is, giving up territories is what countries that lose a war do. I think that no one in Ukraine has the feeling that we will lose the war," he added.
