United Kingdom, allies to provide Ukraine with 30,000 drones
On January 9, the British and Latvian defense ministers announced that Ukraine will get 30,000 drones from allied nations as part of the drone coalition, a package valued at around $54.6 million

This is stated on the UK Defense Ministry's website.
The announcement was made by British Defense Secretary John Healey and Latvian Defense Minister Andris Sprūds at a meeting of the Ramstein Defense Contact Group in Germany.
According to them, the drone coalition, led by Britain and Latvia, has signed contracts worth 45 million pounds, so Ukraine will receive 30,000 drones. They were funded by Britain, Denmark, the Netherlands, Latvia, and Sweden.
“These state-of-the-art, first-person view drones will help Ukraine fight against Russian aggression, allowing Ukraine’s Armed Forces to manoeuvre past Russian air defences to target enemy positions and armoured vehicles,” the report says.
- On December 28, Latvian Defense Minister Andris Sprūds said that the country had prepared a new batch of drones, including more than 1,000 combat drones of various types, for transfer to Ukraine.
