The Russian military has intensified forced mobilization in the temporarily occupied territories of Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions
The Defense Intelligence of Ukraine reported the information.
According to intelligence, from October 1 to December 31, 2024, Russia mobilized about three hundred men into its army as part of a forced conscription in the occupied territories of Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions.
For example, in order to increase the volume of conscription in the occupied territories, the Russians require all men under the age of 60 to register for military service.
The Defense Intelligence of Ukraine added that those who try to avoid participating in the war against Ukraine are threatened, in particular, with deprivation of earnings and livelihoods.
"Meanwhile, in the occupied territories of Luhansk region, the invaders are luring the male population with one-time payments in rubles for signing a contract - the Russians promise 2.5 million rubles for the life of a man mobilized for meat assaults," the intelligence added.
- The Russian authorities have passed a law according to which Ukrainians living in the temporarily occupied territories who have not received a Russian passport will not be able to officially marry.
