Ukrainian army to break through Russian defense line in south within month - former Aidar battalion company commander
Yevhen Dykyi, veteran of the Russian-Ukrainian war and former company commander of the Aidar battalion, believes that we will see the results of the Ukrainian army's counteroffensive within a month
He said this on Espreso TV.
"Distances in war are very non-linear. There are kilometers that need to be broken through for months, and then there are hundreds of kilometers that can be covered in a day. I believe that we will see the result of the Ukrainian counteroffensive within a month. But this result may be different. Within a month, it will become clear whether we have managed to break through the three-line echeloned so-called Surovikin line. If we manage to do it within this month, then the enemy will fall back, and the south will be ours," emphasized Dykyi.
According to the former company commander of the Aidar battalion, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are making quite serious advances in the south.
"If we fail to break through this line, it will mean that we no longer have enough forces. So far, it looks like we will break through the enemy's defense within a month. In recent days, there have been quite serious advances by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and these advances are not expressed in kilometers, but in eliminated strongholds and enemy manpower. We have already made good progress in this area. In one place, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have already moved from the first line of enemy defense to the second, and this is a significant result," emphasized Dykyi.
