Ukraine’s Prosecutor General in US: We must increase diplomatic pressure on the Russian regime to bring abducted Ukrainian children home
During a working visit to the United States of America, Prosecutor General of Ukraine Andriy Kostin discussed joining forces with partners to return Ukrainian children

Kostin's meeting with Bill Keating, chairman of the U.S. House Subcommittee on Europe, Eurasia, Energy and the Environment, focused on joining forces to bring home Ukrainian children who continue to be abducted by Russia in their thousands. Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States Oksana Markarova also joined the meeting.
"We must increase diplomatic pressure on the Russian regime to force it to cooperate with international organizations to return Ukrainian children. Putin, who is now officially accused of war crimes, and other officials of the criminal regime should be treated appropriately," said Kostin.

On March 17, 2023, the International Criminal Court in The Hague issued an arrest warrant for Russian President Vladimir Putin. He is suspected of illegally deporting the Ukrainian population, including children.
