Ukraine's Armed Forces liberate 75 Kherson region settlements
Ukraine's Armed Forces have liberated 75 settlements in the Kherson region from the invading Russian forces
This was announced by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Yaroslav Yanushevych, on Suspilne.
"In the Kherson region, 75 settlements are confirmed to have been liberated from the invading Russian forces. In October alone, Ukraine's Armed Forces returned 29 settlements under the yellow-blue flag," Yanushevych said.
The head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration emphasized that now it is necessary to maintain informational silence, but wait for good news.
The infrastructure in the de-occupied territories is in a terrible state: "Many destroyed houses, schools, hospitals, kindergartens, destroyed power lines, transformer substations, gas pipelines, water pipelines, and boiler houses. People were left without water and electricity."
One of the key problems faced by the authorities is the restoration of electricity supply. The process is complicated, explosive technicians work first, and only then - energy engineers.
Yanushevych said that until February 24, more than 19,000 people lived in the de-occupied settlements, and now there are about 7,000.
