Members of Parliament Yaroslav Zhelezniak, Oleksiy Honcharenko, and Iryna Herashchenko reported the information.
According to them, 298 MPs voted in favor of the bill.
"A significant amendment was adopted here: women volunteers are enrolled in the military registry for conscripts before basic training at their own request," Yaroslav Zhelezniak stated.
Additionally, the bill allows young men currently turning 18 abroad to register for the military without returning to Ukraine.
The document also mandates a medical examination before practical sessions in basic training.
- At the end of December 2024, it was reported that the General Staff was working on creating conditions to ensure two months of military training for recruits.
