Ukraine prepares for multiple counterattacks – Defense Express
Ukraine is planning and preparing for several counter offensives to liberate all occupied territories, and its Western allies are actively strengthening the Armed Forces' capabilities not only on the ground, but also in the air
Defense Express writes about it
The German Ministry of Defense has officially confirmed its plan to provide Ukraine with the largest military aid package since the beginning of the Russian Federation's full-scale invasion.
According to analysts, it is crucial to note the German government's logic in forming this aid package. The military and political leadership of Ukraine has stressed the need for modern air defense equipment to protect against Russian air attacks. As a result, Germany will provide 15 Gepard "anti-aircraft tanks" and four IRIS-T SLM batteries with 12 launchers of anti-aircraft missile ammunition.
Furthermore, Ukraine's military-political leadership has indicated the necessity of conducting multiple counteroffensive campaigns to fully liberate their land from Russian invaders, which requires the appropriate military equipment.
Berlin has taken note of this message and will provide armored vehicles and logistical support to strengthen the mechanized units of the Armed Forces, intended for offensive operations.
