This became known from the Espreso TV channel.

"Combat actions are the so-called waves. That is, there is a constant drawdown, and then an increase again. We expected this increase, because tactically and strategically Avdiivka is important for the enemy, we listen to their intercepts. Therefore, we know all their plans very well," he said.

The serviceman also said that the accumulation of equipment was spotted, but the most important thing is that there is a huge number of enemy infantry in the area.

“Russian enemy outnumbers us 3 to 4 times in this area, there are a lot of infantry. Our task is to constantly push the enemy back, put pressure on them, directly hit the concentrations of equipment and infantry with shock troops and in no way allow the enemy to stop, dig in and take up any positions. That is why the situation in this area is quite tense, and I have always said from the first day of this major attack that everything is very serious. The enemy will always try to take the Avdiivka direction," Firsov stressed.

He added that the Russian army's main task in this area is to take the so-called spoil heap near the Avdiivka Coke Plant, install anti-tank weapons there and try to shoot through the roads and control the logistics.

"But this is unsuccessful for Russian enemy, and in principle we know which units and special forces will be deployed. There are enough bullets and shells for everyone," the military said.
