The Ukrainian Armed Forces' powerful counteroffensive in Kharkiv region heralds a turning point - Feigin
Mark Feigin, a member of the Russian opposition in exile, a former member of the State Duma (Russian parliament) and a well-known video blogger, believes that Russia has already morally lost the war against Ukraine.
He told it "Espreso.TV live on air.
"Russians have not yet definitely lost militarily, although it is only a matter of time. But morally, we proved it long ago. It is important to emphasize that the defeats of the Russian Federation in the Kyiv, Sumy, and Chernihiv directions were not yet a turning point, the strength was still preserved. But Kharkiv finished off the Russians. Now we can say that indeed, a turning point has occurred, and it is not only you and I who see it. Moscow's regional allies from Central Asia, who react in the same way, having assessed the perspective, change their orientations, are proof of this," Feigin noted.
The oppositionist also added that Putin can no longer be confident in the army, general staff and power structures of the Russian Federation.
"Now Putin has a loyal ally - Kadyrov, although many say that he will betray Putin at any moment. But these are not contradictory things, because by protecting Putin, Kadyrov is protecting himself. We must understand that if Putin is gone, Kadyrov will be next. Putin still has hopes that he will be supported by the likes of Prigozhin and his structures. Putin must have a feeling that he has a certain part of his team behind him, which he attracted from Peter, like Medvedev, who has no power resource ", Fagin remarked.
