The invaders are trying to conduct a "census" in the Kherson region: they walk in the yards, stop people on the streets and checkpoints - deputy of the Regional Council

He announced this on the air of the Espreso TV channel.

The deputy of the Regional Council noted: "There is different information about the so-called referendum. Even the fact that the invaders have forbidden men of military age from leaving Kherson and after the referendum they will be mobilized. As far as I know, there was a message that in recent days the exit from the Kherson region was blocked, although still some people left".

Sergiy Khlan added that the invaders are blocking not only the exit of people, but also humanitarian aid and the supply of medicines.

"According to the referendum, there are certain signals that in some settlements they break into the yard and make census of those who live there, sometimes they do it at checkpoints or simply by checking people on the streets. But still, there are no clear messages when the referendum will be held", the deputy noted.

Sergiy Khlan also emphasized that if the invaders have plans to hold a referendum, they will draw the results themselves, and Kherson residents will not go to this referendum and will not allow a propaganda picture to be created.
