Talks on Ukraine war involving 40 countries begin in Saudi Arabia

Al Arabiya reported that the peace talks involving Ukraine and about 40 countries have begun in Jeddah.
The two-day talks are part of Ukraine's diplomatic initiative. It is aimed at gaining the support of both major Western partners and southern countries that do not want to take sides in the war. During the talks, Ukraine and its allies hope to agree on key principles for ending Russia's war against Ukraine.
National security advisors and other representatives of about 40 countries, including Canada, the United States, India, Brazil, Indonesia, Egypt, and Mexico, will take part in the summit. At the same time, Russia will not participate in the peace talks, but the Kremlin has stated that it will keep an eye on the meeting.
