Russia's ruthless aggression results in incredible unity of Ukrainians – Zhevago

Businessman Kostiantyn Zhevago made the statement, his press service reports.

"I express my gratitude to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the territorial defence forces, medical workers, volunteers and everyone who helped us celebrate this day. And I honour all those who gave their lives for our country - true heroes who will never be forgotten. This ruthless aggression has caused an incredible unity of the Ukrainian people, and our country has confirmed its unity and strength on the way to victory and building a strong, free and democratic state," he said.

According to the businessman, it is important that this day reminds Ukrainians of the main thing.

"Let it remind us how important it is to defend our independence, protect it, pass it on to the next generations as our most precious treasure and unite for the welfare of Ukraine."

On August 24, world politicians and officials congratulated Ukraine on the 32nd anniversary of its independence.
