Russia’s massive missile attack likely targeted military supplies provided to Ukraine – British intelligence
The possible objective of the massive cruise missile strike on April 28 was allegedly the interception of Ukrainian reserve units and military supplies that had recently arrived in Ukraine
The UK Ministry of Defence reports.
Russia's recent attacks indicate that the Kremlin has stopped using long-range missiles. For example, during the latest wave on April 28, Russia fired fewer missiles than those over the winter. According to British intelligence, this attack was unlikely to target Ukraine's energy infrastructure.
"There is a realistic possibility that Russia was attempting to intercept Ukrainian reserve units and military supplies recently provided to Ukraine," the statement said.
British intelligence claims that the Russian Federation uses an inefficient targeting process and prioritizes perceived military necessity. At the same time, it does not prevent collateral damage, including civilian deaths.
