Russians lack empathy
It takes a lot of personal spiritual strength and powerful reflection to break out of this
What unites the overwhelming majority of Russians-Putinists and anti-Putinists, soldiers and poets, Russians and non-Russians, 'liberals' and 'conservatives,' 'hawks' and 'doves' is a complete lack of empathy.
And this is a consequence of the lack of reflection (even people with a high level of cognitive development, if they had it, have lost it).
And this is a consequence of social degradation multiplied by the lack of personal spiritual stability.
“What unites the overwhelming majority of Russians-Putinists and anti-Putinists, soldiers and poets, Russians and non-Russians, 'liberals' and 'conservatives,' 'hawks' and 'doves' is a complete lack of empathy.”
If a society is systematically archaizing, immersing itself in the 'red' paradigm (the law of force, centralized empire, prison culture of survival at the bottom and domination at the top, authoritarianism, tyranny, egoism, violence, worship of power, cult of the past and the dead), then this paradigm is accepted by everyone, consciously or unconsciously, in order to keep their heads down, to avoid falling under the skating rink.
“You die today and I'll die tomorrow.” “Not me, but others, whatever happens to them.” It takes a lot of personal spiritual strength and powerful reflection to break out of this. Only a few are capable of this.
