According to Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the Regional Military Administration, the Russians launched at least 6 Shaheds on the Kharkiv region. "There was a hit to a private residential building in the Saltivka neighborhood of Kharkiv. Damage was also reported in Sloboda district. Rescuers are extinguishing a fire in a store," wrote Syniehubov.
In the morning, the State Emergency Service reported three victims. "There were several fires in different parts of the city. The roof of a private residential building, garages, 2 cars, the roof of a two-story building and the premises of an administrative building were on fire. In addition, nearby multi-storey residential buildings and a commercial establishment were damaged. According to preliminary data, 3 people were injured," the statement said.
Later, the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office informed that as of 8:23 a.m., four victims were known.
In Sloboda district, an 85-year-old man was injured when three unmanned aerial vehicles hit a residential area, and a 46-year-old woman suffered an acute stress reaction. The victims were treated on the spot.
A UAV hit the territory of a private house in Saltivka district. Its owners, a 58-year-old man and his 61-year-old wife, suffered an acute stress reaction but refused hospitalization.
Pre-trial investigations into the violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) have been initiated. "Prosecutors, together with police investigators, collected the wreckage of the Geranium-2 UAV and documented the consequences of Russia's armed aggression," the prosecutor's office added.
