Ukraine gets weapons to exert strategic pressure on Russia
Military expert Ivan Kyrychevskyi from Defense Express noted that Ukraine now has a wide range of strike capabilities
Ivan Kyrychevskyi stated this on Espreso TV.
"Clearly, Ukraine already has a wide range of strike capabilities: from improvised drone bombers with air-to-ground bombs to classic propeller-driven UAVs like Lutyi. There are even rumors that the drone missiles presented at the end of last year are operating on Russian territory. Let's not forget about Western air-launched cruise missiles like Storm Shadow/SCALP, which regularly cause problems for Russia's military-industrial complex," Kyrychevskyi emphasized.
According to the expert, the current focus is on more strategically important targets. For example, a factory producing not just chemical products, but solid fuel for ballistic missiles, is a target for which no missile is spared. This marks an expansion of both the geography and range of strikes.
"If the Russians think they have tools for pressuring us, we too now have strategic pressure instruments against the Russians. These are manifested by Ukrainian Defense Forces units, equipped with long-range weaponry, regularly reminding the occupying Russian forces that they haven't solved certain organizational issues with their air defense, and now it’s too late for them to do so," Kyrychevskyi added.
- Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized the importance of Ukraine’s partners fulfilling their commitments to provide support and ramping up pressure on Russia.
