Russia attacks Ukraine with Shahed drones: 3 people injured in Odesa

Ukraine's Air Force reported that Russian forces attacked Ukraine with Shahed-136/131 drones and two S-300 missiles
The Russians launched 20 Shaheds from the Primorsko-Akhtarsk region (Russia) and two S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles from the Belgorod region in the direction of Kharkiv.
"The forces and means of the Air Force in cooperation with the air defense destroyed 19 Shaheds. Anti-aircraft missile units and mobile fire groups were engaged to repel the air attack. The air defense was operating within Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Dnipro and Kirovohrad regions," the statement reads.
Consequences of the UAV attack on Odesa
At 1:44 a.m., Suspilne reported on explosions in Odesa.
The head of the Odesa Regional State Administration informed that as a result of the UAV attack on the city, civilian residential infrastructure was damaged, fires were reported, and there were civilian casualties.
"We know about one casualty. A 62-year-old man received a shrapnel wound," the head of the regional state administration later clarified.
Later it was reported that the number of wounded resulting from the Russian attack increased to three people.
"A woman born in 1955 and a woman born in 1995 were wounded. Doctors are providing the necessary assistance. We have evacuated 130 civilians from the damaged building," noted Kiper.
Suspilne reports that the blast wave smashed windows, damaged window frames, doors in nearby houses and buildings and advertising signs. A crater was formed nearby, and bomb experts were working there.
The State Emergency Service reported on the consequences of the night shelling.
"A gas pipe, 4 parked cars, balconies on the 3rd and 4th floors and an apartment on the 2nd floor of a five-story residential building with a total area of 50 square meters caught fire," the publication said.
Rescuers reported that 130 people were evacuated, and a mobile shelter was deployed at the site.
"The facade of the house on the area of 100 square meters was partially destroyed. The blast wave damaged 8 cars and destroyed 4 cars. Three people were injured at the scene," the SES said.
The head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, Oleh Kiper, said that one victim is still in the hospital and his life is not in danger. Two other women continue their treatment at home.
"As a result of damage to the heating network, 58 houses in Odesa are currently without heating. The period for repair work is one day," the statement said.
