Russian troops fail to ensure sustainable logistics of their forces and equipment - military expert Seleznyov
Vladyslav Seleznyov, military expert, colonel with the Ukrainian Armed Forces, spokesman for the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in 2014-2017, notes that a sufficient number of artillery allows Ukrainian forces to destroy Russian rear and positions on the approach
He shared the information on Espreso TV.
"The reason for the success of the Ukrainian Defense Forces is not only the heroism and perseverance of our soldiers, but also the fact that we have a sufficient number of artillery pieces. It is these means that allow us to destroy enemy rear and positions on the approach. Russians are now facing the problem that they do not have time to ensure the sustainable logistics of their forces and means that are actively operating in different parts of the front. If we recall the events of June 12, for example, the destruction of a railroad track in Crimea connecting Kerch and Dzhankoi. Then the track near the village of Yakymivka was destroyed, and this is a section of the railroad between Dzhankoi and Melitopol. These are very important components that slow down the movement of enemy resources and reserves to the point where the enemy has to spend a lot of time restoring damaged communications and establishing a steady supply of equipment, ammunition and everything else they need," said the Ukrainian Armed Forces colonel.
Vladyslav Seleznyov pointed out that Ukrainian guerrillas often disrupt the timely and sufficient restoration of logistics for Putin's army.
