An explosion has occurred on railroad tracks in Kirovsky district in the temporarily occupied Crimea, resulting in the suspension of train traffic.

This was stated by the head of the Russian administration on the peninsula Sergey Aksyonov.
He noted that the corresponding services are already working on the spot to repair the railroad tracks within 3-4 hours. No one was injured.
Aksyonov did not specify what caused the damage to the railroad tracks. However, Russian media reported that an explosion occurred at around 4 p.m. At the time, a freight train was passing by.
