The mayor of Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov, said this on the air of a nationwide telethon on November 1.
“Since yesterday, they have announced vacations in the city of Melitopol, and they are trying to take our children out to Crimea, Krasnodar, or other regions of the Russian Federation,” the mayor said.
“They have already used this practice in other temporarily occupied territories. For example, they took 300 children from Enerhodar, Kamianka, and to date they have not returned them, but only came to ask their parents for winter clothes, because they are not going to return these children soon,” he clarified.
