Russian forces forbid ZNPP staff to communicate with each other
At Zaporizhzhia NPP, Russian occupying forces forbade nuclear workers to communicate with each other
The press service of Energoatom, Ukraine’s nuclear power operator, reported the information on Telegram.
"After the recently introduced ban on using even push-button phones at the ZNPP site, Russian terrorists are reaching a new level of absurdity - they are imposing even more ridiculous restrictions on the staff," the statement said.
The station's representatives are banned from communicating with each other.
About 2,500 nuclear workers remain to work at ZNPP.
"However, the security service has now become almost the most important unit at the nuclear power plant: it is the armed "guards" who are now deciding how it should function. Before the work shift, they carefully and thoroughly check the nuclear workers at the entrance, allowing them to go to their workplaces only via the overpass. Any movement within the ZNPP territory is also strictly taboo, except for those clearly defined by local police. It is strictly forbidden to go outside the plant or even just to the street. While at work, employees now have the right to look only straight ahead. It is strictly forbidden to turn your head, or even just look to the side," Energoatom emphasized.
