Signs show Russians preparing to escape from ZNPP: Ukrainian staff ready to return at first call – Energoatom
Ukraine’s nuclear operator Energoatom is preparing personnel to enter Zaporizhzhia NPP immediately after de-occupation, and start working
This was announced by Energoatom President Petro Kotin on the United News telethon, Ukrinform reports.
"We are preparing now on the (government-controlled - ed.) territory of Ukraine. We have personnel who left Enerhodar. They work at our other separate divisions, including nuclear power plants, but we support their readiness to go to Zaporizhzhia NPP on the first call," Kotin said.
According to him, Ukraine’s nuclear operator is also preparing shifts at nuclear power plants, full staff changes that will be needed in case of a shortage of personnel at Zaporizhzhia NPP after de-occupation.
Kotin reminded that there are signs that Russian troops are preparing for "evacuation". In particular, special training was conducted for Rosatom personnel and the military to quickly leave the plant.
