Russian troops launch nighttime drone attacks on Mykolaiv, Dnipropetrovsk regions
During the night of Sunday, April 28, Russian forces launched drone attacks on Mykolaiv and Nikopol in the Dnipropetrovsk region, causing in significant damage
This was announced by the heads of Mykolaiv regional military administration Vitaliy Kim and Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration Serhiy Lysak.
According to Vitaliy Kim, the attack on Mykolaiv occurred at 04:45 a.m. with Shahed drones. The assault caused severe damage to a hotel building and sparked a fire, which was quickly extinguished.
Nearby, another hotel suffered broken windows and damaged vehicles. Additionally, heat-generating infrastructure was impacted. Fortunately, there were no casualties reported.
Similarly, Serhiy Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, reported that following the daytime attack, Russian troops targeted Nikopol with two kamikaze drones, resulting in the fire at a private residence. Firefighters promptly extinguished the blaze, with no reported casualties.
