Russian troops are getting closer to Kupyansk community - local official
Andriy Besedin, head of the Kupyansk city military administration, reports ongoing Russian troops advances and local successes in the Kupyansk direction
He shared the information on Espreso TV.
"The situation is indeed extremely difficult. Russian troops are constantly advancing and, unfortunately, have achieved local success over a large stretch of the front line. The enemy is approaching closer to the central parts of the Kupyansk community, leading to an increase in the number of strikes. Last night, the Russians struck with an air bomb. It was a 1.5-ton guided bomb that hit the central part of the city of Kupyansk. Fortunately, no people were nearby. A large number of administrative, private, and office buildings were damaged," Besedin emphasized.
According to the head of the Kupyansk city military administration, the Russian tactics remain unchanged - terror, destruction, and the devastation of critical and civilian infrastructure.
"The distance from Kupyansk to Synkivka is 6 kilometers, where the enemy is constantly pressing. From another direction, it is 8 kilometers to Petropavlivka, where the Russian aggressor is trying to break through and has achieved local successes. In other words, the Russians are getting closer to the central parts of the settlements in the Kupyansk community," Besedin noted.
