This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin.

"Russian troops attacked the centre of Kherson from the air. Preliminary, there are victims among the townspeople. Details will follow later," he wrote.

As of 15:46, 7 victims were reported.

"The youngest victim is 15 years old. The boy was injured in the nose and shoulder. A 39-year-old woman sustained an explosive injury, a shrapnel wound to the abdomen and a fracture of the pelvic bones. A 32-year-old man was diagnosed with light injuries - blast trauma and a head injury. An ambulance also brought to the hospital two women from Kherson, aged 58 and 40, with explosive injuries. Another woman, 39 years old, sustained concussion, blast and craniocerebral injuries. An elderly woman, 78 years old, was also hit by the enemy. She is currently in hospital with an explosive trauma, wounds to her face and arm," said Prokudin.

He noted that a hit was recorded in the Central district. The enemy fire damaged residential buildings and an educational institution.

Oleksandr Tolokonnikov, head of the press office of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, told Espreso TV channel some details of the shelling of Kherson.

"Probably, preliminarily, it was two guided aerial bombs that hit the centre of Kherson. As usual, there are no military objects there. We will provide more detailed information later. There are currently 5 injured, most likely their number will increase, unfortunately. There is probably a 15-year-old child among them. Most of them are women who were at home or near the house where the Russians insidiously dropped the bomb that destroyed the houses. They are heavily damaged. Fortunately, there are no casualties so far, and we hope it will stay that way," he said.

As of 16:05, 11 people have been reported injured.

"The 53-year-old father of the wounded teenager was taken to hospital. He has a shrapnel wound to his arm.
Two other women, aged 51 and 50, who sustained explosive injuries and shrapnel wounds to their legs, were also hospitalized. An 88-year-old man from Kherson sustained an explosive injury and a head contusion," wrote the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.

At 16:42, the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office reported 12 casualties as a result of Russian enemy air strike.

Under the procedural control of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation was initiated in criminal proceedings over violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

As of 17:19, 17 people have been reported injured, the Prosecutor General's Office stated. 15 people are hospitalized.
