Russia amasses over 500,000 personnel in cccupied territories and along borders - DeepState

"Speaking in general, Russia has concentrated a large number of its forces throughout the occupied territory and along the borders, this figure is over 500,000 people. This is a rather large grouping. At the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the figure was 170,000. If we talk about the enemy's concentration along the northern borders, this is also no secret, it is there and has been there all along. And in the Kharkiv region, we see the realization of the concentration of the invaders' forces to a certain extent,” commented DeepState co-founder and analyst.

According to him, Russian troops are circulating, moving, and concentrating in the Sumy region, but this currently remains an informational pretext. Only time will tell if these forces will take any significant action in this area

"Of course, all this is primarily an informational moment to keep certain units along the border, to be constantly on the alert, to destabilize the situation. But we have to be ready for any scenario, prepare, build defense, evacuate the population, respond to enemy movements and strike in case of any threat. This is primarily the responsibility of Ukrainian Defense Forces on the ground and the society that helps our soldiers,” summarized Roman Pohorilyi.

  • On June 6, the Institute for the Study of War reported that the Russian army was trying to attack the positions of Ukrainian forces in southern and eastern Ukraine. The Russian army is advancing in the Donetsk region, while the Ukrainian Armed Forces are holding the line in the Kharkiv direction.
  • Also, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, said that the Defense Council would consider the decision to forcefully evacuate families with children from three more settlements in the region.
