Russia's massive missile attack targets critical infrastructure in western Ukraine

Explosions across Ukraine
At 06:12 a.m., Suspilne Kharkiv reported sounds of explosions in the city. Four minutes later, more explosions were heard.
At 07:00 a.m., journalists reported explosions near Cherkasy and in the region.
Around 07:34 a.m., sounds of explosions were heard in the Khmelnytskyi region.
As reported by Suspilne at 07:42 a.m., explosions were heard in the Ivano-Frankivsk region.
The mayor of Ivano-Frankivsk, Ruslan Martsinkiv, stated that air defense forces were active in the region. No missile strikes were recorded in the city.
Aftermath in Lviv region
The mayor of Lviv, Andriy Sadovyi, reported that Russia attacked the energy infrastructure of the region and Ukraine.
"Emergency power outages have been implemented in 6 regions, but Lviv is not on the list for now," he wrote.
Attack on Ivano-Frankivsk region
Head of Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Military Administration, Svitlana Onyshchuk, reported that air defense forces were active in the region.
Russian targets were critical infrastructure facilities. Emergency services are working at the site of the incident. However, no people were injured.
