According to authorities, in the village of Nova Lyada, a drone was allegedly destroyed by Russian air defense and electronic warfare systems. Drone debris was found in the area of Yubileynaya Street, caught in tree branches before exploding, the report said. Tambov region officials noted minor damage to a house but confirmed no injuries.
Meanwhile, the Telegram channel Astra, citing local residents, reported that the drone struck a distillery near a military training ground.
Residents reported that the attack caused a fire at the local distillery. The village of Nova Lyada is also home to a military training ground of the same name, ASTRA noted.
- On the night of Tuesday, January 14, the Ukrainian Defense Forces launched their most massive strike on military targets, reaching up to 1,100 km deep into Russian territory. Targets in the Bryansk, Saratov, Tula regions, and the Republic of Tatarstan were hit.
