Ukraine’s General Staff reported that, "On the night of January 14, the Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out the most massive strike on the military facilities of the occupiers at a distance of 200 to 1,100 km deep into the Russian Federation. Targets in the Bryansk, Saratov, Tula regions and the Republic of Tatarstan were hit.”
The military stated that in Engels, Saratov region, units of Ukraine’s Forces of Unmanned Systems and the HUR attacked the oil products storage base Kristal, resulting in a fire that resumed and could not be extinguished for five days before.
In the city of Seltso, Bryansk region, units of Ukraine’s Forces of Unmanned Systems, Special Operations Forces, Missile Forces, Air Force, HUR, and SBU struck a strategic facility of the Russian military-industrial complex, the Bryansk Chemical Plant. This plant produces ammunition for barrel artillery, MLRS, aviation, engineering ammunition, and components for Kh-59 cruise missiles. According to the General Staff, a secondary detonation occurred on the plant's territory, which lasted for several hours. Additionally, enemy anti-aircraft missile systems Tor and Buk were eliminated.
Units of HUR and SBU also targeted strategic facilities of the Russian military-industrial complex, including the Saratov Oil Refinery and the Kazanorgsintez plant, where fires broke out.
"The targeted and systematic work to destroy facilities that supply the Russian occupation army with ammunition, military equipment, and fuel and lubricants will continue until the Russian Federation's armed aggression against Ukraine is completely stopped," the General Staff added.
