War in Ukraine: Medvedev says with whom Russia is ready to negotiate
Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev says that the current Ukrainian government is not ready to negotiate 'peace' with Russia
He said this on March 4, Interfax reports.
Medvedev stressed that Russia will not give up the lands it occupies.
"Therefore, negotiations with some new people are possible, in my opinion, when they recognise the realities on the ground as a result of the actions of our valiant armed forces," the Russian said.
The deputy head of the Russian Security Council noted that the aggressor country is ready to negotiate with Ukraine only after the change of political leadership in the country.
"If you mean the current Ukrainian government, it is unlikely that they will be able to negotiate. No, they won't be able to. There were no such people there, there are no such people there, and there will be no such people there," Medvedev concluded.
It should be noted that in the same speech, Medvedev called Ukraine Russia.
