Medvedev asserts Dnipro river territories belong to Russia, labels Ukraine part of Russia
Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev asserts that the territories on both banks of the Dnipro River are historical Russian lands
He said this on March 4 at the federal educational marathon Knowledge. First, Lenta.ru reports.
"All our adversaries must firmly and forever understand a simple truth: the territories on both banks of the Dnipro are an integral part of Russia's strategic and historical borders," declared the representative of the aggressor country.
According to Medvedev, all attempts to forcibly change the borders or to cut them off are doomed.
At the same time, the Deputy Head of the Russian Security Council stated that Ukraine is disastrous primarily for its own citizens and referred to it as a state that has not come into being.
"Once, one of the former leaders of Ukraine said that Ukraine is not Russia. This concept must disappear forever. Ukraine is, undoubtedly, Russia," emphasized Medvedev.
- At the end of 2023, Medvedev announced Russia's intention to seize Odesa, Dnipro, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, and Kyiv.

And in January, Medvedev said that the very fact of Ukraine's existence, regardless of its political regime, was the reason for the war.
