Ukraine carries out first fully robotic operation at frontline
Volodymyr Dehtyarov, Public Affairs Officer of Ukraine's Khartiia Brigade, has announced the first fully robotic operation at the front, which involved dozens of different drones
He shared this on Espreso TV.
"The first fully robotic operation was carried out at the front, using dozens of drones. These included ground drones, such as kamikaze drones designed to target and destroy shelters or obstacles. Ground mobile turrets were also deployed, primarily to draw fire and cause damage to Russian forces. The operation featured strike drones, FPV drones, large multicopters, and drones that provided real-time visuals from the battlefield," Dehtyarov explained.
He stated that the goal of the operation was to test certain hypotheses about Russian positions and create favorable conditions for Ukrainian units to advance, which they successfully achieved. During the operation, not a single person was present on this section of the front. All tasks previously handled by people were executed by robots.
"The work of dozens of systems was coordinated by a hundred or more personnel in the second line. These included operators, crews, cover teams, and logistics groups. It was a complex operation requiring the synchronization of multiple frequencies and the coordination of people positioned in different locations," Dehtyarov added.
- Over the past day, Ukrainian Defense Forces eliminated 1,600 Russian troops and many military vehicles and weapons at the frontlinе.
